Terry Smith, MSN, FNP

Terry received her Master of Science in Nursing Education and Post-Master’s FNP from Northern Arizona University. She was born and raised in Southern California and moved to Flagstaff, Arizona in 2003 to be closer to her parents and raise her 2 children in a smaller, more personal community. She has been an RN since 1996 working in critical care, emergency, and women’s health settings. She transitioned to the role of Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2014 working in rehab, long-term care, and assisted living facilities. She has a passion for our elderly population and is certified in Hospice and Palliative Care.  She has most recently transitioned into private practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner focusing on all areas of family medicine including preventative care, management of chronic conditions, and women’s health. She has a passion for teaching her patients how they can improve their health and better understand their health concerns.

When she is not working with patients, Terry is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Northern Arizona University helping to grow our next generation of RNs and FNPs. She also enjoys cooking, hiking, spending time with her two children and their dog Lizzy (formerly known as Lasagna).
